Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 18, 2025
Last Updated: March 18, 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a ride, using our website, submitting a form, or otherwise engaging with Jentle Transportation (“Jentle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Passenger,” “Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jentle Transportation, a senior transportation company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
2. Description of Services
Jentle Transportation provides non-emergency senior transportation services, including but not limited to:
- Medical appointment transportation (doctors, dialysis, therapy, specialists)
- Daily errands (grocery, pharmacy, personal appointments)
- On-demand and scheduled rides
- ADA-accessible and wheelchair-accessible transportation
- Partnership programs for senior living communities (assisted living, memory care, independent living, rehab centers)
Our services are provided by phone booking. We do not provide emergency medical transport. For emergencies, call 911.
3. Booking and Scheduling
3.1 How to Book
Rides are booked by phone. Call +1 (833) 700-9088 to speak with our AI voice assistant first. It will gather your details — then Jennifer will follow up to confirm your appointment. You may also submit a form through our website; we will contact you to confirm availability and details.
3.2 Information Required
When booking, you agree to provide accurate information, including pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, passenger name(s), and any mobility or special assistance needs.
3.3 Availability
Service is subject to availability. We serve the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas, including Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Whitehall, Emmaus, Catasauqua, Northampton, Quakertown, and Macungie. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule rides based on capacity or service area.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Pricing
Pricing depends on distance, type of trip, and frequency (e.g., one-time vs. recurring). We will provide a quote when you book. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., for partnership or recurring arrangements). We accept cash and other payment methods as communicated at booking.
4.3 Insurance and Medicaid
We do not process insurance or Medicaid directly. You pay us; you may be able to submit receipts to your plan for reimbursement. Check with your insurance or Medicaid for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) benefits.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Please call us as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule. We will work with you to find an alternative time when possible.
For recurring or partnership rides, cancellation policies may apply. We will communicate any applicable fees or notice requirements when you establish a recurring schedule.
6. Passenger Conduct and Safety
You agree to:
- Treat our drivers and staff with respect
- Provide accurate information about mobility needs and any conditions that may affect the ride
- Be ready at the scheduled pickup time
- Not request or encourage unsafe or illegal behavior
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if a passenger's conduct poses a safety risk or is abusive to our staff or drivers.
7. Hours of Operation
Monday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rides are scheduled within these hours. Service outside these hours may be available by special arrangement; contact us to inquire.
